Ninjac's Sketchbook

Postby Ninjac » 13 Sep 2010, 03:32

Sorry to hear about the loss of the database. Glad to start up again though. Here is some ink nib and brush work, a digital environment master study, some pastels for school and some character studies. Used 4 brushes on the digi.

Postby KITCHEN BOT :: » 13 Sep 2010, 03:33

Hello Ninjac !
It is good to see you posting here!
:14:

Let me provide you with some helpful info
If you want o post pictures you first have to upload them in your personal album or submit them to one of the public albums
You can create a personal album in your user control panel in the gallery tab: ucp.php
Here is a link to the gallery where you will find the public albums: gallery/index.php

After uploading the images you can post them using the Image BBCodes that are displayed under the Images in your gallery pages. Posting the first code with [IMG] tags will show the image in big and the second code will show a thumbnail.

The Forum will automatically assign the first attached image or the first image posted with [IMG] tags as your topic thumbnail.
If you get lost or need help understanding the features please visit here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=45

Have fun posting!

Thanks doel and Puri! More a come'n! Here is a character vignette study from today. About 2 hours on this one. I've made a connection to what the purpose of my art is and I'm going to ride it. I hope you all can see it come out through the designs.

Your drawing are great, ink work lovable, on pastel studies I love how ..liquid the figure looks and how you've done highlight areas, landscape is nice & the last girl is pretty cool - I like her and the texture you used for bg, I would only spent some more time on her face & hair, the women deserves that ;)

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Sweron good to see ya bud. I guess I could spend more time on her face and hair but I wanted to keep them loose and felt comfortable with the stage they were at for a study. If it were a final illustration I would go into detail for sure. Another study from today, about 2 hours on this one too.
