Holy crap shit, it's been ages since the last update of this sketchbook. Here are some doodles: some speedies, a vanitas to be finished, some portraits, random angel, blablabla.

Yeah man, your skills are really coming together. You're doing a great job with textures.

Thanks Nick!

Not much activity since I've been busy with moving and everything related, but I'm almost done with everything so I'll be more active soon:

A little master study (I took just the sky part from a painting in Color and Light book)

omg! Them clouds hnnngggg :01: I love clouds! Those look awesome. I can't do clouds to save my life. And your dragon is epic too.

Believe it or not, the point to art, any art--music, illustration, literature, sculpture, movies--is to convey an emotion, thought, idea, or all of the above. So the message of any piece of art is its foundation not just some "mere detail".

Thanks guys!

Here is another one, more work and poor result compared to the previous one, mainly because of the different lighting which I think is more difficult because there is more volume to build... or maybe it's just me, but I don't like the result as much as the previous one:

well it looks more rough than the previous but i think it's better, don't know why but it gives the feeling the colors were better picked
