New 2hour study, did this one while I watched the movie on my second monitor
The purpose of this study was to try out some new principals I've thought up that I learned from my previous painting "Who is like God?"
I decided to stop after 2hours because I noticed that I was no longer thinking and just rendering, my goal had been reached. Looking at it and going over the process in my head, I can also learn from the mistakes I made. For example, the background is far too muddy and saturated. And I spent too much time on details in their faces too early.
I'm currently trying to note down how I work and what I know about drawing and will some time in the future post a "tutorial" on my website. Look forward to it I'll try to cover as many basics as I can.

Good stuff Reed, I especially like what you said about finishing touches as that always takes me forever too, and stuff always look different when you're burnt out and then when you have fresh eyes, including others views. Also, good movie, usually have a stone heart but that one almost got the water works goin
