Amazing shots, Randis!!! What kind of hardware do you use?

i have a Nikon D300 with a very nice set of pro lenses On photos posted on the web you can't really see the quality, it only comes out in print and helps with editing. Other than that some random small camera would do the job too.

I have a modest Nikon D50, and a pair of lenses. Nikor 18-135 and a Sigma macro 105mm. They're not too good for doing this kind of images. What you suggest (lenses and flash) to get these awesome portraits?
